The closing session of the Fourth Collegiate Social Responsibility Summer Camp and the Sixth CSR Essay Competition Award Ceremony was held at 2 p.m. on August 9th. In attendance was Prof. Liu Baocheng, the director of CIBE, Le Ping, a professor in UIBE, Xu Ling, the president of BHWM, Hu Chengsheng, Prof. Zang Yingnian, and Liu Pinhai from Seton Hall University.
Prof. Liu Baocheng gave a speech first, and then came the award ceremony. There has been more than 8,500 people participating in the CSR Essay Competition, which is becoming more and more influential in Chinese universities. Shu Lu, a student from UIBE, gave her thanks to this competition as a delegate.
Campers also prepared ethical plays for the celebration. The plays had different focuses, one was about a TV dating show, another about lawsuit, a third was about corporate reputation, and the other two were about illegal doctors and volunteers.
All the campers were awarded at the end. Zhang Jing, Chen Xiaoqiang and Chen Fengxu were titled “excellent camper”; Group Five was the “best group”.
We changed a lot during this thirteen day summer camp and great friendships were built during the process. I hope we can meet here again next year.
